your end of year income doesn't matter
Dec 19, 2023
I want to encourage you to take a moment to reflect on this year.
Not on the sales or marketing metrics, but on the stuff that actually matters...
- How did you support yourself through this year? Do you need to resource yourself with supports for next year?
- What are you holding onto in your life or business that you don't really need to be?
- What kind of boundaries did you set for yourself around the amount of time you spent working? What would you change in 2024?
- What could you add to your life (person/thing) that would make things easier for you? What would it look like for you to actually make that happen?
The truth is, its easy to look at the numbers and either celebrate, or feel down about what your final cash count was for the end of the year... but none of it matters if you feel like shit.
If you're burned out and not looking forward to doing it all again in 2024.
If this is you, I really encourage you to ask yourself these questions... and most importantly - what needs to change next year to be sure you don't find yourself here - December 2024, tired and questioning everything.
The truth was, in December 2022 - I felt exactly the way I'm describing above. I made a lot of money, but I felt... nothing. I was tired, and over it.
Fortunately, I feel pretty different this year. But its not perfect. There are still a lot of things I am going to change... and I'm excited to share what those things are with you!
But for now, ask yourself these questions - and if you feel comfortable sharing, I'd love to chat with you about them!
