I was recently on a connection call with an incredible entrepreneur - we were chatting and getting to know each other...and she was assessing my fitness to speak in her entrepreneur networking community.

 

She asked me something that made me laugh...

 

 

I took a DEEP breathe, and told her I keep my blinders on.

 

Here's the truth. The internet is a really cool place - anyone can start a business online...

 

...but that is also in its essence - the problem.

 

Anyone. can. start. a. business. online.

 

Regardless of whether they are qualified to or not.

 

Hiring a coach to support you in your business is a BIG decision…

 

…and honestly I’ve seen too many people make the wrong investment because they hire someone that’s great at shining the Apple but lack the ability to actually help their business.

 

A big Instagram following or fancy aesthetics isn’t a reason to hire that coach.

 

Here’s are some good reason to, though...

 

💚 they have been where you're at and are now where you want to be.

💚 they are willing to admit they don’t know everything.

💚they talk about their client wins more than their own.

💚 they have a breadth of knowledge or expertise that you want access to.

 

…another big piece is feeling like they’re going to be a person that holds space for your humanness too!

 

What do you look for when hiring a coach for your business?
