Welcome to the New Season of This Mother Means Business

entrepreneurship marketing Jun 30, 2025
I’ve been keeping a little secret from you… but not anymore.

If you’ve listened to the latest episode, you already know—we’ve refreshed the podcast! After more than two years and countless episodes, This Mother Means Business has a brand new sound and an even clearer mission. Same heart, same message, but with a fresh new vibe that feels more aligned with where we’re headed. Because let’s be honest: I’m not the same woman I was when I launched this show, and neither are you.

When I started This Mother Means Business back in February 2023, it was just the name of a podcast. I had no idea it would become a brand, a community, a movement… and yet, here we are.

Over the years, this show has grown into something so much bigger—because you have grown. Because we have grown. What started as a place to share stories of motherhood and entrepreneurship has transformed into a full-blown growth accelerator for entrepreneurial moms who want to build successful businesses without sacrificing their lives.

We’re halfway through the year (how?!) and I always use this time to reflect, recalibrate, and—let’s be honest—sometimes rip my business apart and put it back together again. And that’s exactly what I’ve been doing behind the scenes. We’ve hosted our first event, deepened the community, and now we’re evolving into something even more powerful.

Here’s what’s changing (and what’s not):
  • This Mother Means Business is shifting from being “community-first” to growth accelerator-first—because you deserve strategy and sisterhood.
  • Our monthly membership is still just $67/month, but it won’t be for long. Once the new vision is live, the investment will more than double. If you’ve been thinking about joining, now is the time.
  • We’re diving into corporate sponsorships (my last corporate job was in sponsorships, so this feels full-circle!)—and I can’t wait to share what I’m learning about how brands can support women like you and me.

But it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. This year has brought a number of personal challenges too—including navigating serious medical issues with both of my parents. I won’t go into too much detail out of respect for their privacy, but let’s just say it’s been a lot. And if you’ve found yourself pulled in unexpected directions lately—know you’re not alone.

Despite it all, I’ve never been more excited about what we’re building. I’m calling 2025 “Year One” of This Mother Means Business as a movement. And we’re only just getting started.

So here’s my invitation to you:

Take a moment to reflect. What’s gone well this year? What hasn’t? What’s the thing you said you were going to do but haven’t done yet? (Be honest.) And then—make the commitment. Whether it’s today, next month, or in the fall, I hope you find a way to follow through on that promise to yourself. If you need accountability—you know where to find me.

And if you’ve been here since the early days of the podcast: thank you. If you’re new to the show: welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.

Let’s keep building businesses that support our lives, not consume them.
