The latest episode of This Mother Means Business drops today - and well, this one is personal.

 

Last year I left my kids for the first time in nearly 3 years and hopped on a plane to Arizona for what was my first-ever in-person mastermind.

 

I had done virtual masterminds in the past, and LOVED them, but there was a part of me that was really craving human connection. So, I trusted the pull, and got on the plane.

 

I thought I was going for my business, but what I actually got is so much more.

 

What I realized most as I sat in that room, was how far away from myself I had gotten. Between running my business, kids, marriage, and all the in betweens - I had really lost myself. And for the first time I was sitting in a room doing something just for me.

 

No one needed me. I didn't have to be anything for anyone. I just got to be.

 

I cried, a lot - and I get a bit emotional in the episode recounting it too.
