Eight years ago, I would have been writing you this email from the front seat of my car.

Sitting in traffic on the way to my office job.

Drinking my breakfast smoothie and dreaming about not having to be sitting in that traffic…

Wondering... if there was a way – any way – out of this grind.

But, it wasn’t just the traffic I couldn’t stand.

I hated my job… even though it was a job *anyone* in my position should have loved.

Leading digital marketing for a luxury automotive brand was *so cool*.

I drove a fancy car, and made good money.

But, I hated it. 

I didn’t know there was another option. I bounced around a lot in my career. Changing jobs every 2-3 years out of boredom.

I’m so thankful I stepped outside of that world.

I am the first entrepreneur in my family.

Entrepreneurship is hard.

 And while I’ve tried, failed, and cried more times than I can admit…

I love it.

…and now, 8 years later… on the days that are especially tough, I think back to those days in my car.

I remind myself that I am currently living an answered dream.
