the fear that comes with doing something new
Feb 25, 2025
You know that feeling when you’re about to take on something new—a new offer, a new opportunity, or even just putting yourself out there in a bigger way?
It’s exciting... but if we’re being honest, it’s also terrifying.
That little voice creeps in, saying things like:
👉 What if this doesn’t work?
👉 What if I’m not ready?
👉 What if people don’t take me seriously?
And suddenly, something that should feel like a step forward starts to feel like something you should probably put off.
But here’s what I know for sure:
Fear always shows up when you’re growing.
It’s not a sign to stop. It’s a sign that you’re stepping into something bigger—something that actually matters.
Every time I’ve made a bold move in my business—whether it was launching something new, raising my prices, or even hiring support—fear was right there, trying to convince me to stay in my comfort zone.
But the thing is, nothing great happens there.
So here’s your reminder today: Feel the fear and do it anyway.
Your next level is on the other side of the fear, the doubt, and the “what-ifs.” The only way to get there? Take the next step—even if it’s messy, even if it’s uncomfortable, even if it’s scary.
Growth doesn’t come from staying comfortable. Take the leap—you won’t regret it.
