Setting intentions for 2023 to help you grow...

entrepreneurship marketing Jan 03, 2023
I'm not a huge fan of resolutions.

They often represent a need for "change" that I have a hard time resonating with...

...and after working in fitness in one way or another for 8 years I know that most people's resolutions are wiped out by the second week of February.

When a new year begins, I like to set intentions.

My 2023 intention is to experience more joy.

The truth is - 2022 was a very successful year in my business... financially.

But in the quest to achieve massive growth, I stopped taking care of myself.

I didn't prioritize my health, or my happiness.

I had time for my kids, and my paying clients. Not much else.

And while there is no part of me that is about to stop growing my business... (hey ambition, how you doing?)... I am going to do a better job of supporting myself.

So what does this look like?

I'm about to hire a right hand for my social media agency.

I've had my hands on and in every client that has come through our doors, and while that has been incredible - its pulled me away from being able to connect the way I want to with some of you.

While I will still have my hands ON every agency client, I won't have my hands IN for much longer.

I'm going to be restructuring a lot of my coaching programs.

When they launch. How they launch. What's included... it's all going to change.

Because at the end of the day my business exists to serve ME - not the other way around.

So I'm making decisions that step towards joy, and asking myself the following questions...

1) Will this project or client bring me joy?

AND

2) Is this going to be fun?

If the answer is no... I'm just not doing it.
