Mid-year update, and real talk about where I’m at…

We are halfway through 2022…

…and I’m now officially in a place where I can compare me this year, to me last year.

Here’s why I’m excited about this - it’s easy to compare yourself to other people in the online industry.

There are a lot of people making a whole lot of money, and it’s easy to tell yourself stories about how you’re not doing enough, or maybe even that you’re not doing enough.

(If you have ever told yourself that tale, know I have been guilty of it too.)

I’ve always tried to treat myself as my biggest competition – it’s me vs. me after all! So, this week I opened up my stripe account, and did a little math.

January to June 2021, and January to June 2022 represented a 214% increase in sales.

I cried…. and then ordered my favourite takeout while my husband was upstairs putting our daughter to bed.

He came downstairs to me exclaiming – “I know you didn’t think we were having a celebratory dinner tonight… but we are celebrating!!!”

I sat there eating my delicious meal and reflected on what changed for me to see that kind of growth, and I narrowed it down to three things.

The first one is me. I have changed. I am more in tune with myself and in alignment with my work than I’ve ever been. I know who I am, who I want to help, and am wildly confident in my ability to do it.

The second is my offers. While these haven’t changed significantly, I have spent the last year focusing on getting them *right* - what do people really need, and how can I give them it.

And the third… is nothing.

I am just as consistent as I was last year. I continue to show up day in and day out. I do the things I *know* I am supposed to do, even if they don’t always feel fun or highly sexy.

On the days when engagement is down, and I feel like throwing in the towel… I still show up.

I continue to stick to the plan… even when it feels like it just isn’t going my way.

So, if you’re in a season of questioning *Everything* in your business – I encourage you to look at the big picture.

Keep showing up.

Keep working on you.

Keep working on your offers and supporting your people.
