Maybe It's Time to Get Sick of Your Own Schtuff
Sep 24, 2024
Do you ever have one of those days where you’re just over it?
You’re sick of the same excuses, the same procrastination, the same cycle of “I’ll do it tomorrow” when deep down you know tomorrow is not going to be tomorrow.
I see this a lot.
In clients, prospective clients, people that drop into my DMs... they *want change* but for some reason just won't take the action required to make it happen.
So I'm here to just call it what it is: sometimes you’ve got to get sick of your own sh*t to finally make a change.
Look, I get it. You’ve got kids, a business to run, a household to manage, a family to support.
You’re already juggling a million things, and the thought of adding something else to your plate feels overwhelming. But let me ask you this—how long are you willing to stay stuck where you are? How long are you going to keep telling yourself that you can’t when you know you’re capable of more?
There’s no magical motivation fairy coming to push you off the couch. Sometimes, the biggest breakthrough happens when you hit that point where you say, “Enough is enough!”
And while the only person who is capable of actually making that decision is you, I want to leave you with a little reminder: you don’t need everything to be perfect before you take action.
You don’t need permission, a detailed plan, or to have it all figured out. You just need to be done with your own excuses.
This is your sign to get out of your own way, take a deep breath, and do the thing. Trust me, future you will thank you for it.
