Letting Go Of What Isn't Serving You
Sep 10, 2024
You know what they say about being a business owner – it's an exhilarating journey, but it can also be downright exhausting.
I've been there, and I understand the weight that can sometimes feel unbearable.
I wanted to share a story about one of my clients with you - for privacy purposes, let's call her Wendy.
She was feeling overwhelmed, like her business was slipping through her fingers like sand.
Tasks were piling up faster than she could handle, and she was on the verge of burnout.
But as we peeled back the layers to what was really going on, it became clear that Wendy was holding onto tasks that she didn't need to do herself.
She wasn't delegating nearly enough.
Here's the thing, though – delegating might feel daunting, like letting go of control in all areas of your business. But I promise you, it's the key to unlocking newfound freedom and propelling your business to new heights.
Some of the ways delegating tasks have helped me in my business is more energy, allowing me to really focus on what I'm good at, having more balance, and honestly just dreaming bigger. I only have so much capacity, and delegation opens mine up for bigger things!
Once Wendy finally started delegating, and getting herself out of the weeds - her business has literally taken off like a rocket!
So, if you find yourself exhausted by the demands of your business, it's time to consider delegation.
Take it step by step, identify tasks to delegate - even if you don't feel totally ready. Trust in yourself, your team, and the vision you have for your business.
Heck - it may even allow you to have more fun!
