Let’s talk about failures…

They’re an important part of becoming successful, and an important key to leadership.

Here’s a look at some of my professional ones…

I’ve been fired.
Sued.
Told no.
Threatened.
Told I should just try again later.
Called names.
Shut down temporarily.
Lost $100k.
Shut down permanently…

And…
Reduced to tears… a lot..

and the truth is… that’s just the highlights in my leaning tower of failures.

But I keep going despite them.

I keep showing up, and I keep trying.

Why?

Because those failures are what make me, me.

They're the pile of sh*t I will stand atop when it all works out.

Because every single one of those sh*tty moments had me trying my best to do something new on the other side of it.

Because if I hadn’t had all of those experiences I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Every successful woman I know has a pile of failures that is sky high.

Some are messier than others.

To be honest, I’m proud of my failures.

They all have wild stories, big learnings, and thankfully today… things I can laugh about woven throughout.

I’m going to keep failing.

It’s inevitable if I want to get to where I’m going.

So, lets stop fearing failure. If you aren't failing... you probably aren't trying anything new.
