Over 50 people unsubscribed from this email community two weeks ago.
 
I COULD have really got in my head about this... I mean, 50 people made the conscious decision to never want to receive an email from me again.
 
I could have made it about me.
 
"Wow, I must really suck"
 
But I didn't.
 
I just laughed.
 
Here's the thing...I am more than okay with someone saying they aren't a fit for my community.
 
That what I align with now isn't of interest to them.
 
Why? Because everyone who leaves gets me closer to having a community of people who want to stay.
 
It gets me closer to the dreamiest humans in my programs, and as clients for my social media agency.
 
The same logic applies to social media followers. If someone unfollows you, they were never going to buy from you anyway...
 
  • I have had clients tell me they don't want to send emails because they don't want to bug people.
  • I have had clients tell me they don't want to send too many emails because they get more unsubscribes.
  • I have had clients tell me they don't want to sell on their social media accounts because people might unfollow them.
 
My response to this is... so what? If someone thinks you are bugging them, unsubscribes from you, or unfollows - they were literally just taking up precious space for someone else who LOVES you and cannot wait to buy from you.
 
So, permission to show up, stand out, and scream your greatness from the rooftops!
