I'm a long way from my goals (and its okay if you are too)...

A client recently told me they’re “no where close to where they want to be…”
I replied with, “me too!”
The truth is I am so. freaking. far. from achieving my big scary business goals and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
I’m not overly concerned with how much money I’m making, or not making right now - but I am concerned with how much action I’m taking.
How much I’m just putting my head down and doing the things and living my life to fullest knowing full well it’s all going to pay off at an unknown date.
I care more about how what I’m doing today is going to do for the goals I may not reach for 10 years.
That sense of urgency you’re feeling about your business is what’s making you hate your business.
I’m so excited to see what 46 year old Laura is doing that a few hiccups along the way don’t bother me.
Do yourself and your sanity a favour. Play the long game.
