I (almost) quit.
Sep 20, 2022
I think about quitting sometimes.
Actually.. its more than sometimes.
It’s at LEAST once a week.
It’s not because I don’t love this work…
…helping entrepreneurs realize how much money they can make online is my favourite thing ever.
I have a private client who made $30k last year in her business and is on track to do $200k this year.
I’m not the best at math, but even I can say that’s an absolutely insane rate of growth.
What’s even more exciting, is she didn’t launch a single new product this year. She just got really good at maximizing the marketing channels she had available to her and selling more consistently.
There’s also been a whole bunch of intangibles, and self work that has gone into this result, but if I’m honest… THIS is the reason why I don’t quit.
Her life is forever changed. I get to celebrate being a part of that.
If I quit – I wouldn’t be able to continue changing lives in this way.
It would be easier to go work for someone else. To get a regular cheque.
But the thing is… I would be miserable. I know I would be miserable – it also wouldn’t align with my core values as a human.
If you’ve ever felt this way yourself, I want to share with you how I move out of these moments of “I quit” and into moments of “putting one foot in front of the other”.
First thing I do is step away from my computer/phone/device.
Then, (assuming its not the dead of winter) I go outside – barefoot, and ground myself.
Then I breathe.
And I tap into my why.
WHY am I doing this?
Why for me.
Why for you.
Why for us.
Sometimes I journal. Often I cry.
But I pick myself back up, and I keep going.
I hope you will too.
