Today on This Mother Means Business, I want to talk to you about mine.

 

As the middle child of three girls, I have sisters - but they're not the source of my wound. Society is. How women are pitted against each other is.

 

For the longest time in my life I felt extremely intimidated by other women. Especially anyone I deemed smarter, prettier, more athletic better than I was.

 

I don't feel that way any more - but it took some time to get there.

 

On today's epsiode of This Mother Means Business, its me, a microphone, and my vulnerability. Sharing with you my struggles to make female friends, how I felt walking into a room of other women, and just generally being able to connect with other women... and, how I have healed it, and encourage you to as well.
