How a $32 Smoothie can change your marketing...

Last week I travelled to Scottsdale, Arizona...
 
...I was meant to be there for a mastermind, but I got pretty sick and spent 2.5 days in bed.
 
I don't know if you've ever been sick in a hotel room before... but you're kind of well, stranded.
 
No friends to call, no partner to deliver snacks, drinks, and medicine...
 
...and after a really really rough night, I remembered I had one powerful tool on my phone that might just help me make this experience less awful.
 
Uber.
 
I wasn't in a place where eating solid food was an option... so I knew I needed a smoothie, and I needed one quickly.
 
So, I switched my Uber location from Barrie to Scottsdale, and I found Emerald City Smoothie...
 
With delivery and tip, the smoothie was going to be $24USD/ $32 Canadian.
 
I would normally NEVER pay $32 for a smoothie.
 
But I didn't have a choice. Emerald City and Uber had the solution to the problem I had at that exact moment.
 
I would have paid $60 if it meant getting some much needed sustenance into my body.
 
So why am I telling you this?
 
Because people will always pay for solutions to their problems...
 
and while you may not be selling smoothies to sick people - you ARE bringing people the solution to a problem that is important to them.
 
So my question to you is this - are you talking about the way you solve it clearly enough? Because if people knew exactly how you solve their problems, they'll be lining up.
