Goodbye Q1, Hello Q2.
Apr 04, 2023
The first quarter of the year has come and gone.
How are you feeling about it?
Q1 came with a lot of really exciting wins for me...
- I launched my podcast
- Helped a client land a big TV spot
- Had a client match her 2022 income in Q1 2023
- We started the Ambition Mastermind (ILYSM!)
- I welcomed four new 1:1 clients in my world
- Had my highest Q1 income ever!
But I also struggled with a few things...
- My health has continued to deteriorate (working on this with the best team ever!)
- Tried and failed to potty train my son (twice)
- Was sick 3 times
- Fired a client
If I'm honest - I could probably make the struggle list pretty long.
That's just it, isn't it?
There is duality to this whole business thing... it's not ALWAYS going to be sunshine and rainbows.
This journey isn't linear - and quite frankly its more often than not a wild rollercoaster ride.
If I were to look at the financials alone then yes - Q1 was great - but I'm not here to B.S. you into telling you that's the only measurement I have for success in my business and life.
There are a lot of things I need to improve on as we welcome Q2. I need to do a better job of managing my budget. Of taking care of my health. Of prioritizing MY needs (not everyone elses).
The thing I am going to do most of all is ask for help.
I now have three different people (none of which are my GP) that are on my health time.
I'm hiring for help in my home (did you catch my podcast episode on that?)
I'm about to hire an OBM to tighten up my systems.
The good news, is there are always solutions to business problems. That's one thing I know for sure.
...I also know I can't solve them alone.
I share this with you because if Q1 wasn't all you hoped, we've still got another 3 quarters to rock it this year.
Maybe you just need to find the right help.
I'm a person that considers myself VERY lucky to have built a network of humans who are able to solve problems in your business.
So, if there's something coming up for you - feel free to reply to this email, if I can't help you - I'm happy to refer you to someone amazing.
Here's to Q2.
