Feel the Fear—and Do It Anyway
Nov 19, 2024
Let’s talk about something real today—fear. It’s that feeling we all know, the one that creeps up when we’re on the edge of something big, something meaningful. You know, the kind of fear that makes your stomach flip, your heart race, and your mind spin with all the “what ifs.”
But here’s what I want you to know: that fear doesn’t mean stop. It means go.
I know it’s tempting to wait until you feel “ready,” to push pause until the fear fades. But the truth? You don’t need the fear to disappear. You just need to bring it along for the ride and go anyway. Think of fear as a sign that you’re onto something worth pursuing, something that matters enough to scare you a little (or a lot).
Whether it’s putting yourself out there, saying yes to that new opportunity, or finally drawing the boundaries that you know you need—don’t wait for the nerves to settle.
Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Courage isn’t waiting until you’re unafraid; it’s moving forward, one step at a time, even with shaky hands and a racing heart.
So if there’s something that’s calling you right now, something you’re holding back on because of the fear, take this as your green light.
Feel the fear and move with it. You are way more capable than your doubts would have you believe.
That version of you on the other side? She’s already waiting for you to just show up. Go meet her.
