A moment of reflection for the first half of our year...
Jun 27, 2023
Well, the first half of the year is almost in the books.
And while many of us are planning for a summer of quiet, or to hit the next 6 months of the year running, I want to invite you to consider some questions to reflect on the work you've done so far.
If you're a journal-er, feel free to grab yours or if that's not your vibe, I just invite you to give these some thought.
- What are you most proud of yourself for in the first half of 2023?
- Where did you push yourself to do something new?
- What did you set out to do in the first half of the year that you didn't accomplish?
- Where did you play small, if at all?
- If the second half of the year could go exactly to plan, who would you have to BE in order to make that happen?
I'll share my answers with you below (since we're friends and all!).
- I am most proud of myself for letting go of offers and programs that no longer served me and my clients to get myself closer to the type of transformative work I want to provide
- Launching my podcast was a big push! I was nervous but my expectations have been blown away!
- I wanted to host my retreat in the first half of the year, but its now in September - so not all bad!
- I played small by not pitching myself to be on the podcasts I want to be on or asking all of the people I want to come on my podcast to be a guest. I'm going to shake that in the back half of this year!
- I need to BE brave. I need to hold the conviction for what it is that I want to accomplish and know that it's all going to work out exactly as it should. I need to be a person who doesn't fear judgement, or rejection, and I need to be calm in the process.
I hope this gives you perspective as you shake out the rest of the year - however you want that to look!
